According to QC News, the incident occurred on the 1500 block, where a member of the Charlotte Fire Investigations Task Force noted smoke emanating from the structure at around 3:18 p.m. Firefighting teams swiftly responded to the call, identifying the rooftop's solar panels as the source of the blaze.
