As reported on the Colma Police Department's social media page, on July 31, officers responded to a call from a business located on the 1200 block of El Camino Real in response to an incident that occurred a few weeks prior. According to the official police report, four individuals—two men and two women— orchestrated a theft on the evening of July 14, making off with over $5,000 in goods.
The suspects fled the scene in a nondescript white Toyota sedan, the police said, after lifting merchandise tallying approximately $5,030.16 from the establishment. The time was roughly 8:43 PM when the crime occurred, and the swift nature of the theft has underscored ongoing concerns about shoplifting in the area. While the authorities have since uncovered the identities of the male suspects, the two female suspects remain unidentified. The first is described as a black female dressed entirely in black, and the second is a black female wearing all grey.
Colma's law enforcement has publicly appealed for any information that may lead to identifying these individuals. "Anyone with information or who can identify the suspects is encouraged to contact the Colma Police Department Detective Bureau at (650) 997-8321", the police statement read, and for those opting to retain their anonymity, they have provided a tip line at (650) 997-8337.
