The community of Fallbrook is mourning the loss of 28-year-old Albert Solis, who died in a car crash last Saturday morning on state Route 163 near Fashion Valley Mall. Times of San Diego identified the victim following confirmation from the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
According to the Medical Examiner's report, which was also published online, the incident occurred as Solis was driving southbound on SR 163, the vehicle for reasons not yet known, went off course, striking a tree after it veered off the road and up an embankment north of Friars Road, Solis died at the scene despite the quick response from emergency services.
Albert Solis, described as a Hispanic male, was traveling alone during the accident, which took place around 12:45 a.m., according to details shared by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. Rescue personnel arrived responding to a 9-1-1 call but could not save him.
