
A collision involving personal watercrafts in North Bay Village left one individual with injuries late Monday afternoon. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene near Captain Joe's Boat Rentals, responding to the reported accident. According to WSVN, the victim, who suffered facial injuries that were promptly bandaged up, was ferried from a platform boat to the dock, from whence he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Investigations have begun to quickly unravel the events that led to the mishap, as officers put out a BOLO for an individual believed to be associated with a hit-and-run incident on one of the watercrafts. A lone personal watercraft was found unattended in the water, captured by Sky 10's aerial coverage of the area.
