Miami locals can expect a break from the recent dreary weather, with forecasts indicating brighter skies to kick off the week. Consistently high humidity levels will persist, and coupled with additional sunshine, the city faces another heat advisory with "feels like" temperatures that may exceed a sweltering 110 degrees, according to NBC Miami.
Despite the presence of morning showers, they are expected to clear out quickly these conditions ushering in afternoon sunshine, and while today's heat may soar to near 92 degrees, the coming days forecast slightly lower highs around the 90s mark but not without increasing chances of afternoon showers – an uptick in the typical Floridian pattern.
As the National Weather Service outlines, from a 30 to 60 percent probability of showers and thunderstorms will be hovering over the area, most notably in the afternoons and early mornings.
The NBC Miami anticipates a "touch more instability" throughout the week.
