Announcing its grand opening on Friday, August 23, 2024, the renowned electronics retailer is set to open its doors at the Mall of the Americas, located at 7795 W. Flagler St., Miami. The new location promises a sprawling 28,500 square-foot space filled with over 25,000 items, from cutting-edge AI workstations to components for building custom PCs.
"The key to Micro Center is creating an environment that customers are willing to drive to," Rick Mershad, president and CEO of Micro Center, told the New Times. He noted that "fifty percent of our customers nationwide drive more than 20 minutes to a Micro Center," highlighting the retailer's dedication to customer service and the provision of an extensive range of products.
Miami's store will join the ranks of recently opened Micro Center locations in Charlotte and Indianapolis, with another planned in Santa Clara, California, scheduled later this year. This latest addition marks the company's 28th store in the United States, cementing its position as a go-to destination for all things tech.
As part of the grand opening festivities, the store is set to offer appealing deals, including 20% off on a select range of Windows laptops, desktops, and more. For those looking to dive into the world of 3D printing, the Miami location will also feature a large vending machine carrying a variety of paint colors and filaments for unique creations. According to an announcement, the store will continue Micro Center's tradition of offering specialized staff assistance through its Knowledge Bar, where experts will be on hand to field questions and offer authorized repair services for a wide array of devices.
With hours of operation from Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the new Miami store is expected to draw a significant crowd seeking tech gadgets, components, and specialized customer service tailored to their needs.
