
The Hendersonville Police Department's recent activities have culminated in the arrest of an 18-year-old Nashville resident, Malik T. Dobbins, following a sequence of car thefts and a burglary. The case unfolded on August 9 when police responded to a call regarding suspicious individuals on Monthaven Boulevard, Hendersonville FOX 17 reported.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered that a vehicle had been burglarized and another was found unoccupied with the engine running. The latter vehicle was subsequently confirmed as being stolen from Nashville. In a related event during the same timeframe, a second vehicle theft was reported from the same location. Law enforcement later located this vehicle in Nashville, Sumner County Source confirmed.
Dobbins’ apprehension on August 15th was executed by the Metro Police Department’s Vehicle Crime Unit in Nashville without incident. He faces charges which include theft over $10,000, theft over $2,500, burglary, and theft under $1,000, as noted by WKRN. Dobbins is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court, Sumner County, TN, on August 28, 2024.
