
If you're planning on heading to Carmel's third annual Brews on the Boulevard this Saturday, make note of some important traffic and parking changes that'll help you navigate the festivities without a hitch. According to a bulletin from the City of Carmel, the event is scheduled to run from 5 to 9 p.m. in Midtown Plaza and along Monon Boulevard, and with it comes a set of "No Parking" signs and street closures that will be in effect from 8 a.m. to midnight.
Northbound Monon Boulevard is shutting down from Walnut Street to the alleyway behind Sun King, while southbound traffic won’t be able to pass from 1st Street SW to Walnut Street, and Walnut Street itself will be closed from Monon Boulevard to Veterans Way, Elm Street will see restrictions from 3rd Avenue to Veterans Way, and don't forget that 3rd Avenue remains off-limits for construction from City Center Drive to 2nd Street SW.

These locations include Sophia Square Parking Garage, Range Line Road and 1st Street NW, the 3rd Avenue SW and 1st Street Parking Garage, Indiana Design Center Parking Garage and Lot, and last but not least, Midtown North and South Parking Garages, and these are all highlighted on a map to guide you there seamlessly.
For those who plan to indulge in the event's namesake brews, or simply want to avoid the hustle of parking near the event, these parking garages provide easy access to the heart of the action and they're on a first-come, first-served basis, so it might be smart to arrive early snag a spot and make the most of the evening with less time spent on logistics and more on enjoying the brews, food, and company.
