At approximately 12:30 PM, local law enforcement received calls concerning shots being fired. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a white sedan speeding through the neighborhood, with an individual in the passenger seat firing shots into the sky. At the time of the incident, no injuries were reported according to Brookly Park Police report.
Police officers arrived swiftly in response to the calls. Never intended to neglect their duties amidst the chaos, they began an on-scene investigation, canvassing the neighborhood for evidence and information. Through their efforts, officers were able to find proof of the discharged rounds. Details on the white sedan and involved suspects have not yet been released, allowing the shooters to presently evade identification and arrest. Investigations continue as officers aim to gather more evidence.
