After a West Palm Beach Police Officer conducted a stop on Rudolph's illegally tinted car and found drugs in plain view, a search revealed a loaded .38 special revolver in the purse of Rudolph's girlfriend, who was also in the car, a subsequent DNA test confirming Rudolph's own genetic signature upon the gun, according to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office, judicial decisions led to his sentencing of 114 months in prison.
This sentence heralds Rudolph's fifth conviction for firearm possession as a felon, he was already on probation for a similar offense at the time of his arrest, his repeated offenses highlight ongoing issues within the criminal justice system, where those failing to reform often end up back in court, Rudolph will next encounter freedom after two years of supervised release beyond his time in incarceration.
