Brentwood detectives have successfully apprehended the second suspect involved in the armed robbery that took place on Sand Creek Road, as confirmed by the Brentwood Police Department. The first suspect, 28-year-old Orey Douglas of Antioch, was initially taken into custody by Oakley PD after a high-speed chase that concluded with a crash on Highway 160. This pursuit began after officers responded to an armed robbery report on Sunday.
In a continuation of the case, authorities have identified and arrested 38-year-old Sam Gray of Oakley, the second alleged perpetrator in the crime. The arrest is the result of persistent investigative efforts by local detectives. As reported by the City of Brentwood Police Department, the officers took Gray into custody with diligence, and he has since been transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
During the initial incident, the victim reported being held at gunpoint by two suspects before they fled the scene.
