The collision happened about 6 p.m. on August 22 near the intersection of 175th Avenue and West Paradise Lane, ABC15 reported. According to the description provided by the police, the suspect was driving away in what was believed to be a dark gray Toyota Camry, ranging from model years 2018 to 2024.
At the time of the tragic event, the young boy was riding his bike, and during the collision, the vehicle involved lost its front right passenger mirror and suffered notable damage to its front end including the grill. The authorities have released a photo exemplifying a car similar to the suspect's. Having sustained significant injuries, the boy is now the subject of an ongoing investigation to bring the offender to justice. Still, no suspect description has been released, according to 12 News.
