Following a lengthy legal process, a Tennessee man, Bryan Ray Dudley, has been found guilty by a Franklin County grand jury on charges of first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping. The FOX17 report disclosed that Dudley stood as the last of the defendants in the case involving the death of David Steele.
The jury concluded that Dudley was to immediately be held responsible for the crime that dates back to October 2017 when Steele was reported missing. His body was later discovered near Spring Creek/UTSI Road in Franklin County, a revelation that ignited a widespread investigation by local authorities and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The case has since then endured nearly seven years, culminating in Dudley's conviction reported on August 17, as indicated by the WKRN news article.
Furthermore, Dudley was found guilty of the additional charge of especially aggravated kidnapping, both with a weapon and causing serious bodily injury to the victim. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page released a statement acknowledging the grand jury's decision and mentioning the upcoming sentencing scheduled for September 25.
