Manchester, New Hampshire, became the scene of overnight chaos as three individuals were arrested following a series of tumultuous events outside a local hookah bar early yesterday morning. The incident has since prompted the suspension of the establishment's business license.
According to NBC Boston, the police response was triggered by reports of gunfire at the Babylon Hookah Lounge on Maple Street around 2:45 a.m., where they discovered one Dominick Lundrigan, 23, had discharged a firearm multiple times into the air after a confrontation inside the hookah lounge spilled outside and he was barred re-entry which escalated the situation, leading to his arrest and charge with reckless conduct using a deadly weapon, and amazingly no one was injured in this debacle.
Simultaneous to Lundrigan's arrest, conflicts persisted as Jonathan Bunzigyie, a 32-year-old man from Westbrook, Maine, allegedly defied police orders to evacuate the cluttered parking lot; his refusal to comply with law enforcement led to his arrest on charges of disorderly conduct, an incident reported by both NBC Boston and Boston 25 News.
Meanwhile, Adhok Yac of Lewisham, Australia, found herself caught in the fray when, in an act of defiance, she hurled a Solo cup at an officer—this act of aggression resulted in her arrest for disorderly conduct and simple assault, a series of events that led to the need for further investigation and a subsequent shutdown of the bar's operations pending a licensure hearing, as reported by the authorities. The city has yet to provide details on the past health, fire, and liquor infractions cited in connection with the Babylon Hookah Lounge.
