Monday evening's streets of Midway, Utah witnessed an e-bike crash that resulted in the hospitalization of three 14-year-old girls. According to Fox 13, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on East Main Street as the teenagers were riding together on a single e-bike. Attempting a turn, they collided with an Acura, triggering an investigation by Utah Highway Patrol.
Despite the seriousness of the incident, the teen's injuries were not life-threatening, according to Utah Highway Patrol. Patrol spokesperson Silva, mentioned that "while the girls experienced serious injuries, they were not life-threatening," as cited by KSL. Eyewitness responses and official reports indicate that two of the girls were taken to hospital by ambulance while the third, showing more severe injuries, was airlifted to safety.
All three girls were donning safety helmets at the time of the collision, perhaps mitigating the extent of their injuries. The current condition of the teens is listed as stable, providing a semblance of relief amidst the harrowing ordeal, as reported by KSLTV.
