The search for two missing paddle boarders, a mother and daughter, at Flaming Gorge Reservoir has come to a tragic conclusion. The body of 44-year-old Emina Cejvan, the missing paddle boarder, was discovered just before 11:30 a.m. on August 27, confirms Daggett County Sheriff Erik Bailey, as obtained by ABC4. This incident follows the earlier recovery of Emina's mother, 66-year-old Ramiza Cejvan, whose body was found the previous Saturday.

Both victims, residing in Sandy, were involved in a paddle-boarding accident in the Swim Beach area of the Flaming Gorge last Sunday afternoon. According to SweetwaterNOW, Ramiza Cejvan's attempts at a revival on the scene were unsuccessful after initial CPR efforts. Emina Cejvan, after not resurfacing, sparked an immediate search and recovery operation by local authorities. However, escalating hazardous weather conditions forced search crews to reduce their efforts on Sunday.

The relentless pursuit to find Emina Cejvan resumed on Monday with a detailed combing of the waters by boats and divers. Recovery crews eventually located her after scaling back the efforts on Monday, as reported by SweetwaterNOW. It took nearly three days of exhaustive searching before the recovery crews could report the tragic find.

On the day of the accident, a man's desperate attempt to save Ramiza was performing CPR on her. Despite his life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene, as per KUTV. Tuesday morning, nearly three days later, Emina's body was found at around 10:20 a.m., in the same area where her mother met her untimely end. This event has cast a somber mood over the local community as it mourns the loss of the Cejvans.
