The Tullahoma Driver Services Center, located at 307 Industrial Boulevard, is reopening on Monday, Aug. 19 after a period of closure that began in June to accommodate extensive renovations. According to information provided by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the remodel includes significant enhancements designed to improve the customer experience.
Visitors to the updated facility will be greeted by a range of new amenities, as reported by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. Among the upgrades are state-of-the-art workstations, new furniture, and a fresh coat of paint, all purposed to create a more efficient and welcoming environment. Parking, having long been a pain point for visitors, has also been addressed with the expansion of the parking lot.
The center's reopening ensures that locals will once again have access to essential services without the need for lengthy travel or inconvenient workarounds. The full-service Driver Services Center is a key location for Tullahoma residents, offering services that include issuing driver licenses and REAL IDs, administering vision, knowledge, and skills tests, processing motor vehicle records, and handling handgun permit applications. The center also provides voter registration and organ/tissue donor registration services.
With its return to operation, the Tullahoma Driver Services Center will resume its regular business schedule, opening its doors from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central, Monday through Friday.
