The Chicago Police Department has issued a correction and additional details in their ongoing search for Wilbert Jordan, a 60-year-old man reported missing since August 23. Jordan, whose last known contact was at 9:00 AM on the date of his disappearance, is described as a dark-complexioned, bald Black male with brown eyes, standing at 5'9" and weighing around 200 pounds, with an earlier flyer misstating his height as 6'9", as detailed by the Chicago Police Department.
A resident of the 1600 block of North Keating, Jordan is known to commute regularly without a vehicle, often seen riding the eastbound CTA bus from Cicero to Pulaski, then taking a northbound bus on Pulaski towards his place of employment, located on the 5000 block of North Pulaski, where interestingly enough he has very recently stopped working, and this detail might hold some significance in his sudden disappearance. According to a public notice by the Chicago Police Department, he may also frequent the Pacific Gardens located in the 1400 block of South Canal, which could be another place of interest in the search.
Authorities are urging anyone who might have seen Jordan or have any information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Area Five SVU at 312-746-6554.
