The cyclist, who was heading eastbound on 3200 Canon St, impacted the right-side rear door of the vehicle.

The aftermath of the collision saw the cyclist rushed to the hospital, only to sadly be pronounced dead later on. The driver, meanwhile, was reported not to have sustained injuries.
