Oregon State Police (OSP) and the Mobile Police Department are calling on the public to aid in the manhunt for 39-year-old Adam Renk, who is currently wanted for alleged sex crimes against minors in Oregon and Alabama. According to the Oregon State Police, on June 21, a minor came forward with accusations, implicating Renk as the assailant. A grand jury indictment followed, with charges that included Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, Sodomy in the First Degree, and Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.
Investigations revealed Renk faces additional charges in Mobile, Alabama, for Child Sexual Abuse and Torture concerning an 11-year-old victim. Both cases involving minor victims have no connection by relation. After posting bond in Alabama Renk has evaded custody, and authorities alongside the U.S. Marshals Service are redoubling efforts to apprehend him. Experts believe Renk fled Alabama around August 7 this year and he may be making his way around Oregon, specifically Wasco County, where he has known connections.
Renk is described as a white male, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 175 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Witnesses last reportedly saw him driving a modified vehicle, distinctive with its two-toned, white over grey paint job, a converted Ford Ambulance.
