
In the throes of expansion, Branded Bills, an apparel company known for its distinctive headwear, is poised to consolidate its operations at a new headquarters in Tempe. As reported by ABC15, their relocation from Mesa’s Broadway 101 Commerce Park to a 96,407-square-foot space at 360 S. Smith Road nearly triples the size of their current premises and unites 140 employees in one location.
Set for early 2025, the move symbolizes not only a spatial increase but a significant gesture within a corporate landscape marked by meticulous real estate decisions. In the context of the Phoenix metro's 25% office market vacancy and negative net absorption, as noted by Avison Young, Branded Bills stands out with its aggressive growth trajectory since its origination in 2015 with only a $4,000 investment. Making a strategic leap, the company has evidently outgrown its past seven locations, seizing upon a momentum that thrusts it forward as one of the largest corporate relocations of the year.
Branded Bills co-founder Dave Dickert, as communicated by Phoenix Business Journal, underscored the early realization for more space post their last expansion in May 2023. "Typically, it takes a little bit of time to search [for the right office], but when we found that space, it was absolutely a perfect fit," he said. In pursuit of a cohesive corporate culture, Dickert anticipates the company's uniting under one roof to amplify its operational efficiency and long-term growth.
The search, led by Keith Lammersen of JLL, culminated in a building marrying proximity to Branded Bill’s current setup and key features conducive for their business model. Lammersen, quoted in a Phoenix Business Journal article, asserted, "This building is the perfect solution for Branded Bills on all fronts." With a space including a showroom, a content creation studio, and vast production facilities, the blueprint is set for a Branded Bills poised for magnified production and influence within the apparel industry.
Moreover, the company's prior expansions, including a retail outlet at Phoenix’s Footprint Center, underscore a brand that not only thrives on innovation but also on customer engagement and service. As per Dickert's reflection shared with the Phoenix Business Journal, the customer emails and feedback encapsulate the resonance and appeal of the Branded Bills brand in the market.
Branded Bills’ new headquarters is strategically situated on a 4.6-acre plot near bustling retail and restaurant hubs, further cementing its resolve to witness an upward trajectory in the apparel domain.
