Clarksville is mourning the death of 18-year-old Carlos Wills of Lebanon, who was critically injured in a shooting earlier this month and later taken off life support. The Clarksville Police Department confirmed his death, as reported by WKRN.
Following the September 10 shooting on Ash Ridge Drive, authorities have arrested 20-year-old Za’Kwon Jaterrion Holliday of Clarksville, who is considered the prime suspect. The Clarksville Police Department noted that the incident was isolated and did not pose an active threat to the public at large, according to FOX 17.
In addition to Holliday's arrest, the Clarksville police are actively seeking to speak with Davontay Tyrek Spencer, 19, who is believed to have been at the scene during the time of the shooting, as per WSMV.
The police are seeking information and any additional video footage to aid the investigation. They urge anyone with details or footage to contact them at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5172, emphasizing the need for public cooperation.
