According to the City of Eden Prairie, MN recent announcement, the center is hosting a Fall Speaker Series, featuring talks from local experts on topics ranging from the seasonal favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte to prairie ecosystems and conservation efforts. Starting on Monday, Sept. 23, with a deep dive into the world of the beloved autumnal beverage, the weekly presentations will span various naturalistic and environmental themes.

For those interested in conservation, the series offers a unique opportunity to learn about local initiatives and natural habitats, such as "A Field Guide to Eden Prairie Conservation Areas" on Monday, Nov. 18, and "Building Eden Prairie's Clean Water Legacy" on Monday, Dec. 9. Additionally, the Outdoor Center is inviting youth to connect with nature through a blend of gaming and education with the Dungeons & Dragons sessions, catering to ages 11–15 starting on Tuesdays, Nov. 5–Dec. 10.

Apart from the speaker engagements, the center is also providing hands-on experiences. The "Canoeing, Coffee, and Crafts" event on Saturday, Sept. 28 offers free canoe rentals alongside craft activities for all ages, with refreshments available for purchase.
