
A tragic incident unfolded in Logan, where a 2-year-old child was discovered unresponsive in a canal near Ellis Elementary School. According to FOX 13, the child was found Friday evening after a search was initiated following a report to Logan officials of the missing child at 6:34 p.m.
Discovered near the same school, officers found the child after searching the canal. They began life-saving efforts immediately upon locating the unresponsive two-year-old, as reported by KUTV. Unfortunately, despite being rushed to the hospital where resuscitation attempts continued, the child was pronounced dead.
The search lasted approximately 20 minutes before officers located the young girl in the nearby canal. Staring the life-saving efforts in earnest at the scene, the emergency services were determined to revive the child.
