A fatal shooting has claimed a man's life in the Nutbush area of Memphis, according to local authorities. The Memphis Police Department was called to the 3900 block of Chelsea Avenue shortly after midnight, at around 12:23 a.m. yesterday, following reports of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. In a statement obtained by WREG, the man was quickly transported to Regional One Health Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
