A man has been hospitalized following a shooting incident on Interstate 40 in Memphis, according to local authorities. The Memphis Police Department responded to the reports of gunfire on I-40 East near Covington Pike at approximately 8:40 pm on Sunday, Action News 5 reports.
Upon arrival, officers located a man with gunshot wounds. He was swiftly taken to a local hospital, where it was reported that he was in non-critical condition at the time of transport, as per FOX13 Memphis.
