The incident reportedly occurred late Sunday night at Pearsall Park during the 'Divine Providence Parish Festival', as indicated by social media posts relating to the event at the nearby Divine Providence Catholic Church on 5667 Old Pearsall Rd.
Responding to a distress call made around 10 p.m., police arrived at the scene to find that the individual had sustained multiple stab wounds to the face and arm. Fleeing the scene on foot, the male suspect responsible for the violent act has yet to be apprehended. Details about the suspect have not been disclosed by the police as reported by KENS 5.
