
A tragic single-car accident claimed the life of a man in Bellevue early this morning. According to the Nashville Government's official website, the incident occurred just after 1 a.m. A Lexus GS460, in control by a 51-year-old male, veered off Hicks Road and was involved in a high-speed collision with a fence and then a tree.
Regrettably, the driver did not survive the impact. Law enforcement confirmed that he was not wearing his seatbelt during the crash. The man has been recognized as Greg Polsdofer, a resident of Hicks Road, the very street where the accident unfolded.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation, though no additional details about what may have led to the accident have been released.
