As the Miami Dolphins prepare themselves for another season, their home turf at Hard Rock Stadium follows suit by introducing new transportation measures, ensuring that fans have a plethora of options to reach game-day events without the hassle of traditional traffic and parking woes. The fresh Park & Ride service, detailed in a report by WSVN, comes at a cost-effective $10 per vehicle, with two designated parking lots where fans can leave their cars and catch a complimentary shuttle to the stadium.
Notably, Lot 70 near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Lot 95 at the Golden Glades Parking Garage are the chosen locales for this Park & Ride service. An added perk is in place for the early birds, as the first 25 guests at each lot will enjoy VIP treatment in a GEICO-branded van. As reported by Miami Dolphins News, there are also express lanes to whisk fans away to the excitement faster than if they were to navigate the thrum of game day traffic themselves.
To enhance the fan experience, the stadium has partnered with several services for better transportation. Uber Shuttle now provides fixed-fare rides between the Lot 18 pedestrian bridge and locations in Miami like Bayfront or Brickell, with a $5 discount for fans who engage with the stadium's social media. Additionally, the Brightline shuttle service offers convenient roundtrips between the Aventura Brightline Station and the stadium, depending on train schedules.
For rideshare users, Hard Rock Stadium has relocated the pickup and drop-off zone to Lot 30 to manage higher traffic and potential wait times. Traditional taxi service remains at NW 199th St for arrivals and departures. On game days, on-site parking is not available without a pre-arranged pass. The limited parking encourages fans to use alternative transportation methods.
"The fan experience is top of mind for us in everything we do," Jose Mola, Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium Vice President of Stadium & Campus Operations, told Miami Dolphins News. Fans in South Florida may not only enjoy the game but also the new ease of supporting their Dolphins. For questions about the Park & Ride service and to purchase a reservation, fans should visit the stadium's official website.
