Monday's forecast again shows a 20% chance of isolated showers but remains mostly sunny with highs near 91 degrees. The breeze is set to change throughout the day, starting light and picking up a south-southwest direction at around 6 mph in the morning.
The likelihood of showers and thunderstorms increases midweek. "Tuesday holds a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon," the NWS notes. During this time, wind patterns will see a 5 to 7 mph southeast wind changing to southwest in the afternoon, with a high near 89 degrees. This pattern is expected to continue into Tuesday night, maintaining the 40 percent chance of showers, thunderstorms, and a mostly cloudy sky.
As the week progresses, the chance of showers persists but the temperatures start to dip. Wednesday's chance of showers is lower, at 20 percent with temperatures peaking at around 87 degrees. The evening brings an anticipated drop in temperatures with a low around 58 degrees, and a continued chance of showers mainly after midnight. Thursday sees a more significant temperature shift, with a high near 70 and again, a chance of showers in the forecast. Yet, as the week rolls into Friday and Saturday, residents can expect sunny skies and highs climbing from 71 to around 79 degrees, indicating a pleasant weekend ahead.
