A 29-year-old man was fatally wounded on Saturday afternoon in Muncie, prompting a police investigation, as reported by local authorities. The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of South Blaine Street, according to WTHR.
At approximately 3:32 p.m., emergency dispatchers received a call reporting the incident. MPD officers responded to swiftly arrive at the scene, where they discovered the young man with gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and was later pronounced dead, as per the The Star Press coverage.
