
Nashville resident Michael Lavon Cason, age 30, has been apprehended by authorities following his addition to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted List for his alleged role in a Clarksville shooting. As reported by WSMV, Cason was arrested overnight in Nashville and faces charges that include attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated burglary.

The TBI confirmed Cason's arrest with a notice on their Facebook page, which was previously spotlighting the $2,500 reward offered for information leading to his capture. Before being caught, citizens were warned by the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) that Cason was to be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be confronted. He is suspected in the shooting of a man on Sept. 21 who was subsequently hospitalized in critical condition after being shot three times.
As detailed by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Cason was officially listed as a Tennessee Most Wanted individual on Sept. 25, only two days before his capture. Any individuals who come across Cason were advised to avoid engaging him and urged to report sightings to the authorities immediately for their safety and the safety of others around them.
The manhunt concluded after Cason was located and detained in Nashville overnight. Concerning the shooting that took place on McGraw Street in Clarksville. As mentioned in the crime tracker section of WKRN, he was flown promptly to Nashville Hospital, the man being critical when upon arrival, displayed the urgency with which this case was addressed.
