The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has placed a Nashville man, Michael Lavon Cason, age 30, on its Most Wanted List, with charges that include attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated burglary linked to a Clarksville shooting, as reported by WSMV.
Early in the stillness of last Saturday morning, police arrived at a residence on McGraw Street, where they found a male victim shot three times. They immediately rendered life-saving measures, and the critically wounded individual was airlifted to Nashville. Authorities are currently offering a $2,500 reward for information that could lead to Cason's arrest, according to a follow-up post seen on X and confirmed by TBI, which has reason to believe Cason may reside in the Davidson County area.
Emphasizing the severity of the danger Cason poses, both the Clarksville Police Department and TBI have advised the public not to approach him and instead to call 911 upon sighting. The man is described as 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds, as detailed by Clarksville Now.
Police were initially notified of the incident through a 911 call made around 12:30 a.m., and upon arrival, found the man who had been shot, which led to Cason's identification as the primary suspect by the Clarksville Police. Members of the public with potentially helpful knowledge are urged to come forward with tips to either the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND or Clarksville PD at 931-648-0656, x 5239.
