Tensions are high in the Lloyd Neighborhood after a fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday evening. According to the Portland Police Bureau, the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. near Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast 6th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male who had succumbed to gunshot injuries.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed as the investigation continues without a suspect in custody. The shooter or shooters fled the scene before the police's arrival and remain at large, prompting ongoing investigative efforts by the Homicide Division.
