The Mission District witnessed another episode of gun violence last night as San Francisco Police Department officers rushed to the scene of a shooting incident. According to the San Francisco Police Department, the call came in around 8:32 p.m., prompting a swift response to the 2000 block of Mission Street.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Efforts to immediately render aid were made on site, and paramedics quickly joined to provide further medical assistance. Unfortunately, after being transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, the victim was unable to survive, passing away from the injuries incurred.

Investigators duly identified and located two suspects. The authorities have developed probable cause to enact arrests, although owing to the sensitive nature of the open and active investigation, the details of the suspects and their charges are under wraps.
