Community concern is growing as the Chicago Police Department continues to search for Antonio Thurman, a 15-year-old boy reported missing since September 3, 2024. Thurman was last seen in the neighborhood of the 6100 block of South Eberhart Street, according to a police bulletin.
Standing 6 feet tall and weighing around 120 pounds, Antonio has brown eyes and black hair. His medium complexion and youthful features make him easily recognizable. It has been reported that Thurman is possibly in need of medical attention, and knowing this has prompted local authorities and community members to more urgently spread the news of his disappearance. He's also known to frequently visit two locations: the Target at 6422 N. Sheridan and the vicinity of the 6200 block of North Kenmore Street.
The CPD has not yet provided details on the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, but they are seeking tips from anyone with information that could lead to locating Thurman.
