The victim, a Spanish Lake resident, fought for his life at the hospital on Sunday night before being declared dead. The incident happened around 9:50 p.m. on August 25, when police responded to a shooting on the 4400 block of W. Florissant. They found Ivory with a gunshot wound, and EMS took him to the hospital in critical condition. A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and charged with domestic assault, first-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action. St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department report clarified that she was taken into custody directly at the scene.
Details are limited, but the woman faces serious charges related to domestic violence and armed aggression. Her name has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing. The Circuit Attorney's Office is working with the police on the case.
