On Sunday morning, a reported armed robbery in the Bayview district triggered a swift response from local law enforcement, resulting in the arrest of three suspects allegedly linked to the crime. According to a statement by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), officers from Bayview Station arrived at the 300 block of Bayshore Blvd. following a call about an armed robbery, encountering a victim who claimed he had been surrounded by suspects who then proceeded to steal his electric scooter and personal belongings. The victim tried to escape but was pursued and threatened with firearms.

The SFPD detailed that further assistance by Ingleside Station officers, based on suspect descriptions communicated earlier, resulted in locating three males matching those descriptions at Nevada St. and Cortland Ave. Two of whom were found with concealed loaded handguns. The officers continued their search, retrieving potentially stolen items identified as the victim's property.

Subsequently, a 16-year-old male and two 18-year-olds, identified as Jefferson Galo and Jephson Galo, were arrested on multiple charges, including robbery and illegal possession of a firearm, with evidence and probable cause leading to the quick apprehension of the suspects.

While the SFPD has made arrests, the case remains open and under investigation, with the public encouraged to come forward with any information, which can be shared via phone at 1-415-575-4444 or through a text to TIP411 starting with SFPD.
