Two suspects have found their San Diego beach vacation abruptly ended after officers intervened. According to the San Diego Police Department, the individuals were initially flagged for using fraudulent identification at a Mission Bay hotel.
The situation escalated when it was discovered that the pair were traveling in a Maserati reported stolen out of Inglewood, CA. Upon noticing their departure from the hotel, officers attempted to pull over the luxury car. However, the suspects accelerated away, prompting a vehicular chase. The pursuit concluded after the stolen car sustained a tire blowout, forcing the driver to flee on foot before being apprehended. The passenger also attempted to escape and was subsequently detained.
It was further revealed that an unreported stolen Glock 30 with .45 Caliber ammunition was recovered from within the stolen vehicle. The two individuals now face multiple charges resulting from the incident, as the San Diego Police Department remains vigilant in its duties.
