
A collision on DuSable Lake Shore Drive left a 47-year-old woman with a head injury after her vehicle struck the rear of a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus late Thursday night. The incident occurred near the Hyde Park neighborhood, causing the driver to be hospitalized, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The crash took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. with both the private car and the CTA bus traveling in the same direction, when the bus was rear-ended by the car, the woman sustained her injury and needed to be rushed to UChicago Medicine, where she was said to be in fair condition and while no other injuries were reported from the scene citations were pending as per police reports, FOX 32 Chicago reported.
