
Early Thursday, violence struck the Avalon Miramar Park Place apartments in the 11300 block of SW 30th Court, Miramar, when an adult was shot and promptly taken to the hospital. As reported by NBC Miami, the details surrounding the victim's condition remain undisclosed.
Miramar police have not released the shooter's identity or confirmed if they are pursuing suspects. While the investigation continues, the community is still waiting for answers about what happened in the gated neighborhood. According to further information by Local 10 News, residents allege that the incident involved two men and confirmed the gunman is still at large. A woman reportedly familiar with both men involved in the shooting was also at the scene, though her role remains unclear.
"It’s unclear whether she was involved in any way," residents told Local 10 News, suggesting that the dynamics of the situation might extend beyond the act of violence itself.
