In a statement obtained by CBS12, the police detailed that the man brandished a gun and demanded that the woman exit her vehicle before he took off in it, heading eastbound on SW 18th Street.

The victim, luckily, did not sustain any injuries during the event. The authorities are now seeking assistance from the public to locate the suspect, who has been described as a thin-build Black man, potentially aged between 20 and 30, and was last seen clad in gray sweatpants and a gray hoodie. WPBF reports that anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to come forward and contribute to the ongoing police efforts.
