Service technicians will coordinate with homeowners for a two to three-hour time slot to carry out the transition of gas meters from the confines of the interior to the fresh air of the exterior, a task bolstered by the rekindling of appliance pilot lights marking the end of the service, according to a CenterPoint Energy announcement.
