Clarksville's Northeast Middle School will transform into a hive of activity on Saturday, October 12, as local families gather for the Bicycle Safety Rodeo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, organized by Clarksville Parks and Recreation, aims to equip cyclists young and old with the necessary skills to navigate the roads with increased safety. Through various hands-on activities such as helmet checks, bike fittings, and wheel inspections, participants will be educated on the cornerstones of cycling safety.
The emphasis on learning essential safety rules and riding techniques underscores a community investment in the welfare of its pedal-powered populace. Parents are to accompany their children to the event, teaming up to ensure the safety lessons hit home. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bicycles to fully engage in the rodeo's offerings.
