Miami is about to get a new kind of smash burger at Smash Bros, a health-conscious burger joint opening its doors in Edgewater. Four childhood friends are behind the venture, with the aim to offer a "guilt-free" way to enjoy a fast-food favorite. According to Miami New Times, the opening is slated for October 11, ready to serve up their signature "OG Smash Burger" to the first 100 guests for free starting from 11 a.m. in celebration of their grand opening.
The entrepreneurs at Smash Bros have developed their menu to cater to the health-conscious, without sacrificing taste. Their commitment extends to the ingredients they have chosen to use, including 100% grass-fed beef, which is free of GMOs, mRNA, and hormones. “Unlike most burger joints, we're committed to using 100% grass-fed beef, free of GMOs, mRNA, and hormones, ensuring every bite is as pure as it is delicious,” Tim Heravi, one of the founders said, in a statement obtained by Miami New Times.
Not only are the burgers at Smash Bros tailored for the health-minded, but the cooking method for their fries also fried in beef tallow instead of the commonly used seed oils. This detail was highlighted in a celebratory post on their official Instagram page, expressing their excitement for being the first of its kind in Edgewater, Miami. The enthusiasm is palpable with the post exclaiming, "Hola Miami!!! We are SUPER excited to bring the first Smash Burger restaurant to Edgewater, Miami! We use 100% Grass Fed Beef and cook our fries in beef tallow! NO SEED OILS!!! SEE YOU THERE, MIAMI!" as quoted from Smash Bros' Instagram.
Focusing on the clean eating trend, the menu at Smash Bros aims to provide, a nutritious twist on typical fast-food fare. “We've created a truly healthier, guilt-free way to indulge in your favorite comfort food. This isn't just another burger, it’s a better way to enjoy what you love,” added Heravi in Miami New Times.
