According to the City of El Paso, Sepulveda was allegedly seen beating his dog, Apollo, on multiple occasions. A witness reported observing Sepulveda using a metal rod to strike Apollo, which was sufficient to cause the animal to cry out in pain.
In a separate incident, according to the accounts gathered during the investigation, Sepulveda reportedly assaulted the dog with a belt. These repeated acts of violence culminated in police intervention. Sepulveda was arrested on September 25th, after the Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit thoroughly reviewed the allegations. He was then subsequently processed and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. The dog, having suffered from its owner’s alleged abuse, has been given a second chance and rehomed since the intervention.
