A tragic accident unfolded at Point of the Mountain north of Lehi when a man died following a paragliding crash. According to FOX13, the man identified as David Gest from New Lenox, Illinois, was at the Flight Park State Recreation Area on Sunday morning when the incident took place.
Gest, 56, encountered complications while paragliding which led to the crash. Despite prompt rescue efforts, and the victim being airlifted to the hospital, he did not survive the injuries sustained.
