A reported drug deal in Palm Beach County ended in a fatal shooting, leading to the arrest of 21-year-old Dylan M. Slone from Lake Worth. He faces second-degree murder and several drug-related charges.

According to a report by WPBF, the incident occurred earlier this month when the victim, Antonio Wynn, was attempting to buy $2,500 worth of marijuana and vape cartridges. What was meant to be a drug exchange quickly turned violent, resulting in Wynn suffering a life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Police say the situation escalated into an attempted robbery against Dylan Slone, the suspected dealer.

Wynn was taken to JFK Medical Center by an associate in a black Scion xB but died from his injuries two days later, on October 13. Following a thorough investigation, which included tracking Wynn's iPhone to a nearby roadside and uncovering incriminating text messages about the drug deal, as well as reviewing security footage, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office built their case against Slone, as per CBS 12.

Slone was arrested after surveillance footage showed him weighing and sorting illegal drugs in a white shed. Detectives found marijuana, mushrooms, THC vape cartridges, and a handgun at the scene. This evidence linked him to the homicide and drug activities. He is currently in the Palm Beach County Jail, and his bond has not yet been set.
