A fatal shooting incident has occurred in Portland's Sabin neighborhood, resulting in the death of a man found inside a parked vehicle. According to a press release from the Portland Police Bureau, the shooting took place early on Sunday.
Portland Police Bureau officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Northeast 20th Avenue around 2:01 a.m. following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim deceased in a car parked on the street, the suspect or, suspects had already fled the scene, and no immediate arrests have been made. In the wake of the shooting, the surrounding area faced road closures with Northeast 20th Avenue sealed between Northeast Prescott and Northeast Going Street, and Northeast Prescott closed between Northeast 19th and 21st Avenues.
