Commissioner Eileen Higgins, representing District 5, has once again partnered with BizHack Academy to launch the third installment of the "AI for Marketing and Sales" course, designed to boost the competencies of local businesses in leveraging artificial intelligence. The initiative, part of the broader Elevate District 5 program, promises to bolster small businesses with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their marketing and sales approaches with AI. Scheduled to span eight weeks, from October 22 to December 12, the course will transpire via Zoom, primarily in English, with provisions for Spanish breakout rooms to cater to those who prefer Spanish, according to an announcement by Miami-Dade County's official website.

As gathered from the Miami-Dade County's official website, the program itinerary encompasses a variety of modules including "AI + The Lead Building System LBS™," "AI for Marketing Copy Excellence," and "AI for Creating Stunning Imagery." Apart from these, participants will also engage in crafting videos and constructing robust marketing strategies, all through the lens of AI utilization.

Speaking of the transformative effect of the program, Commissioner Higgins proclaimed with Miami-Dade County's official website, "This course within Elevate District 5 is a testament to our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting our local businesses." This sentiment echoes the commissioner's dedication to prompting small business growth within the local community. The commissioner also encouraged small business owners to seize this learning opportunity for the enhancement of their competitive edge.

BizHack Academy's founder and chief executive, Dan Grech, expressed his vision on the partnership, sharing that the collaborative effort aimed to put AI marketing tools in the hands of business proprietors in diverse Downtown Miami areas such as Brickell Avenue, Flagler Street, and Calle Ocho. Equipped with advanced technology, these entrepreneurs are positioned to chart Miami’s transformative journey into a vivacious center for business, lifestyle, and recreation. Grech's ambitions for empowering countless underserved small businesses were encapsulated in his statement, "We’re on a mission to empower 1 million underserved small businesses to grow smarter and faster using AI-powered marketing," according to Miami-Dade County's official website.

The success of the course is evident, with reported outcomes showing a 21 percent increase in AI knowledge and a significant 92.5 percent increase in businesses experiencing monetary gains, attributes the feedback from earlier cohorts, outlined by Miami-Dade County's website. These numbers are complemented by disclosure of average weekly time savings stretching from 6 to 8 hours, allowing businesses to focus their efforts towards new growth avenues and customer acquisition.

For District 5 entrepreneurs and small business owners interested in harnessing the potential of AI for their ventures, the "AI for Marketing and Sales" course is currently open for free registration.
